We will be at Truckfest Peterborough on the 2nd and 3rd May 2010 where we will have our latest parts and the new BECC reflective number plates and information signage sets for 1/14th scale trucks. 

Dan will also be doing some airbrush demos during the weekend.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Our Next Open Day Driving Day

We will be holding our next open day driving day on 16th May 2010, 10am - 5.30pm.  All are welcome to our workshop - Unit 9 Albert Mill, St Hubert's Street / Baron's Way, Great Harwood, Lancashire.

Please use the red pedestrian door in between the 2 roller shutter doors.

Bring your own vehicle to drive or you can drive our demo trucks, try airbrushing, look at and purchase from our range of goodies for your truck including OD Truck Stop, Raccoon's chassis rails etc, purchase paints, airbrushes and see and hear the superb Servonaut systems and how realistic they are or just exchange ideas and tips with like-minded people.

History

Oranda Design was started by Dan Higgins during 2007 in response to friends who asked if he could supply them with the paints and airbrushes he used professionally to paint crash helmets and vehicle parts. Dan used his first airbrushes about 20 years ago and since then he has used airbrushes manufactured by BADGER, TRIPLEX, and more, settling on the excellent IWATA range as he found it extremely reliable to use regularly in the studio.

We started stocking IWATA airbrushes and Auto-Air paints during the summer of 2007 and have included the paint ranges from LIFE COLOUR and stencil ranges and frisket mask from ARTTOOL. These are complemented by our own range of micro masking tape which starts at 0.5mm x 25m and the brilliant MASTERCASTERS range of sanders and polishers plus many other goodies to finish your model car, truck, motor cycle, military vehicle, etc.
